July 16 SCENERY challenge at Cookin' Up Creations

My challenge for you today is to make a layout using any kind of SCENERY.
America the beautiful is just that because of the beautiful and unique scenery that we get to enjoy along the way. You can gain so much inspiration such as a sunset, the beach, the mountains, a lake, a stream. Anything that brings you joy and peace or just an amazing, breathtaking view.

And also try to use something unusual on your layout. I chose to use this corrugated 12x12 piece as my base and some old shaped camping buttons.

 Love in America

So who do you love in America?  We love places, events, and people.  My challenge is to included people that you love on your page.  I used a photo of my husband and me.  He is one of the people that I love the most.   We went to the Senior Golf Tournament in Tampa, Florida together.  I was there because he was there.

So find a photo or photos of a person or people that you love and create your page of "Love in America".  I'm looking forward to see the people you love

Jump in puddles

 

Ducks visited our backyard for days  and days and we were unable to mow parts o o ur backyard for a couple month because of the giant puddles.

How to scrap a single piece of cake from Hubby's birthday?  Surround it.  I used sketch # 525  from Sketches in Thyme.  It was perfect for my photo.

Today's challenge is to be inspired by the Ocean.  I think you all know that I have quite a love of the ocean and try to get there as often as possible. I love everything about the ocean, the salt water, the sound of the waves and birds, the smells, the sand and seashells. It brings me peace and recharges my soul. So create a layout inspired by the ocean. If you don't have ocean photos, you could use sealife from an aquarium, playing in the sand, walking down the beach, etc. If you don't have photos relating to the ocean you could do a photo-less layout, but have journaling about how it inspired you.

 It is graduation time.  I made this card for  a recent graduate.
