Mayflower II

Here is a LO that I created from photos took during our Boston trip from last summer. We traveled over to Plymouth, where we saw this ship. It is a replica from what was believed to be the original Mayflower ship. I used Sketch 129 from the Scrappiest to create this page.

Preacher

These photos were from Plimoth Planatation in Plymouth, Mass. We traveled there on vaction in August of 2010. I used Sketch 130 from The Scrappiest to create this LO. I used part of a paper bag that I got from a scrapbook store. I loved the colors so I had saved the bag. I also used the arrow to show the building from where the bottom photo was taken. I then wrote my journalling around the edge of the circle to tell this.

Lexington, Mass

This LO was created using Sketch 128 from The Scrappiest as my inspiration. These are photos from our trip last summer. We stayed in Lexington, Mass for a few days. From there we were able to travel to Boston and Plimoth. Lexington had a lot of places to visit. These were taken on our first day.

Great Escape

This is another photo from our trip to Great Escape last summer. It is my son, my daughter, and I coming down the log ride. Since my husband refuses to go on the ride he takes photos and squits us with water! I used the July 1st Sketch from Stuck Sketches for my LO design. I used the blue and yellow from my other LO to bring the two pages together.

Time for fun at Great Escape

What fun I had working on this LO! This LO was created for the ScrapFit Workout #47 "Summer-TIME." I had to use lots of yellow and include a clock on my page. I used some photos that are form our trip to Gerat Eacape, a Six Flags Park in Lake George. What fun my family and I had there last summer. We go there almost every summer. We saw Scooby Doo and Shaggy and their car at the park. My kids did not want their photo taken with the characters so my husband and I did. What fun we had.

We are actually headed back to the theme park next week for the day. I wonder if there will be any characters there this year?

Here is my LO based on the sketch:

It is from my son's FFA camping trip last summer. I used a part of a page from an old book for part of the background paper since it reminded me of a tent and camping. I also used twine that was wrapped around a package.
Here is a close-up of the handmade flags and the twine:
