Pixles and Paper Challenge

I found another new scrapbook challenge blog.  It is called Pixels and Paper.  They have 1 challenge per month.  They post an image and you can use whatever inspires you about the image to create any form of scrapbooking and memory keepers that you choose.  Here is the July image.

Below is the LO that I created.  The first thing I noticed were the bright colors.  It was the reds and yellows that drew me in.  I decided to scrap some photos from last Easter.  Coloring eggs is one of our family traditions.  We often gather at my mom's house.  It is there that the grandchildren spend time together coloring eggs.

I started with some spotted paper to place my photos and most of my other embellishments on it. I then sprayed red, yellow, and rose mist on my yellow background paper. I put on some paper stripes behind and on top of my spotted paper.  I added the wooden circles some hand stitching on 2 edges of the paper and sewed the light bulb at the top of the inside spotted paper block.

 Here are a couple close-ups.

So there you have it:  my page that was inspired by the Ferris wheel.  Thanks for stopping by today.  If you want to go see the details for this challenge go to Pixels and Paper
