Pearl Harbor

I used sketch #540 from Sketches in Thyme

I used the Apple Pie Recipe Challenge from Cookin' Up Creations
This month is all about this fine butterball and his sidekicks also known as cranberries, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn, stuffing, and lots of pie. We will be enjoying delicious challenges based upon your favorite Thanksgiving recipes so get your fat pants out and get ready to be stuffed! This is your opportunity to not only get some great Lyaouts done but to also get some great recipes from our design team.

Today your challenge is to use any fruit and 1 or more doilies. Your fruit can be the patterned paper or an accent.

YUM

Cherry Dessert is what my Grandma would bring to dinner at my house.  It is just 3 ingredients.  My challenge at Cookin' Up Creations uses this recipe as an inspiration.

For the cherry pie filling:  use brads, pop dots or gems
For the sweetened condensed milk use:  some white on your page
Stir in the whipped topping:  use patterned paper (as many as you like)

Bon Voyage

Beginning the Cruise to Hawaii in September 2022

Here is sketch #539 I used from sketches in Thyme

Here is the recipe from Cookin' Up Creations November 2 challenge :

3 pounds of potatoes - use 3 different patterned papers.
1/2 onion thinly sliced - I want to see some layering on your layout.
9 tbsp. flour - for this ingredient I want to see lots of white space.
6 tbsp. butter, diced and divided - use the color yellow or 6 or more of something on your layout. I stamped the stars.
salt and ground black pepper - the color black or some type of misting.
3 cups whole milk - Add circles to your layout. I created mine using the bottom of a cup, you can create your circles however you choose.

Volcano

We saw the volcanoes from afar while on the "Big Island" in Hawaii

I used the double page October sketch from Stick it Down

I also used the  10-19-22  Birds of a feather from Cookin' Up Creations

Today's challenge is based on the magnificent bird, the American Eagle. For this challenge, you will need to use the colors red, white, and blue in some form or something patriotic to honor our national bird. In addition to this, please add something that flies to your LO.
