Weaving Challenge at Cookin' Up Creations

  For this challenge, I was inspired by a short clip I saw where a couple of contestants were weaving mats out of palm leaves. So let’s do some weaving. For the 2nd part of the challenge lets make some torn edges and ink them up to represent the paper used when they did the vote offs.

Survivor season 45 is starting next week. In honor of it, our challenge for today is to use 4 items and 5 items on your LO. For example, I used 4 patterned papers and 5 pictures. I also used four picture frames and 5 lines of title/subtitle. Make sure your 4s & 5s will be something we will see right away. In addition to the 45, most of the shows took place in Fiji so please use some colors that represent the islands... blue skies, aqua sea, green foliage, yellow and orange sunsets....you get the idea.

My challenge is up today

 

The rotary phone was often in demand at the Brady house. There were 6 children, 2 parents, and Alice who all had to use the same phone. At times the phone was in high demand. You also had to stay in one place while on the phone so often everyone heard your end of the conversation. To make it easier to have a private conversation there was often a long chord on the phone.
My challenge is for you to include a loooong chord on your page. This could be string, twine, or ribbon. Also include circles on your page. These represent the holes you had to turn to dial the phone. As a bonus use 10 circles.

We are celebrating Pooh and his Friends at Cookin' Up Creations this month.

My challenge is up today.  

Pooh's friend Eeyore is a pessimist. One of his quotes is: "A tail isn’t a tail to them; it’s just a little bit extra at the back.” Since Eeyore has his tail pinned on with a nail use some metal on your page. Also use some string, ribbon, or thread on your page.
