Christmas photos

These LO has photos of my niece and her boy friend from Christmas.
I used the single page sketch from  Stick it Down (SID).

I rotated the sketch to the left side.  I used a stamp for the edges of my background paper.  Then some papers left over from other projects for my cluster and behind the photos.

Here is the single page sketch from SID.

Christmas photos

I love Stuck?! sketches.  Here is the one from April 15th.

Here is what I created from this sketch.  I used photos of my nephew and his girlfriend from our Christmas dinner for this LO.

I left my page a bit plain this time.  I spritzed the tan background paper and drew a large square on it.  Then I used up some of my scraps. and some flowers embellishments that I had in my stash.  I added the birdcage and some buttons and it was done.  The most time it took was to let the spray dry.
You have a few more days if you want to join in with this challenge.

Bucket List

My Bucket List includes going south every winter!  I wear this dorky knit hat in the winter to keep warm.  It is blue and pink striped.  I think it was my daughter's hat.  Now it is mine.
Challenge #16 at Challenge YOUrself was to create a page about my bucket list.

I used the Stuck?! sketches from April 1st.  I used up lots of scraps to create my page

Document what you do

At Turtle Soup it was my turn to scraplift someone else.  I chose Dria. I loved the layered look of her page and how it looked like 1 giant cluster.

I chose a photo of my hubby playing volleyball for his staff team at school.  I scattered sequins on my page to give it some bling.

If you are looking for some scrap inspiration you will find it at Turtle Soup.  Their Blog Hop  starts tomorrow and they have challenge most every day.

April Inspiration at Pixels and Paper

Here is the inspiration photo for the April challenge at Pixels and Paper.  This outdoor photo may inspire you to work on a male page.

You could go with clouds, twilight, silhouette of anything, grey, white and black, playing sports outside, riding bikes anywhere. Or you could work with the spokes as in a pie chart, or use chipboard gears and cogs or use the circles as a feature. Use your imagination - we'd love to see what you come up with.

Here is the page I created:

I was instantly drawn to those wheels of the bike in the inspiration photo. With the dark background the photo made me think of a page for a boy. For my page I used a photo of my husband playing volleyball. This photo made me think of the spokes in the wheels of the bike. I used some dark background paper and then some scraps of patterned and volleyball papers. The metal and cardboard gears just seemed to be needed on the page.

You are welcome to submit traditional paper layouts, art journals, divided page protectors, smash books (etc). Digital entries are welcomed and encouraged.  All entries must be new for this challenge and no back-linking please.

For all the details for this challenge see Pixels and Paper and enter by 11.55pm on April 30th.
