Today's challenge is focusing on TAGS...whether they are plain, matching a paper line, Christmas, etc. For this challenge you must use at least 2 tags and because it is a round-up add a circle or two to the mix.

What is your favorite Christmas memory? Mine would be the Christmas party my parents would have for my dads employees, My mom would pull out her Elvis Christmas album and play it. There were lots of chatter, laughter, goodies and music. So my challenge for today is, for you to share a Christmas memory on your layout.

My Challenge:  When I think of Christmas I think of family. There are usually many times to gather as family. We gather together to celebrate. My challenge is to have a photo with family in it. It doesn't have to be family just several people.

It does NOT need to be a Christmas photo. Also include some love on your page by including at least 1 heart

Who. what, Where, When, How Challenge at  Cookin' Up Creations

Today's Challenge is:

1.)  give info about your LO without using a journaling box, spot, or tag.  You will need to incorporate the info of who, what, where, when, why, & how into your LO so that the page tells your story without writing it out.   You may use stickers, alphas, symbols, etc. to tell your story.  See my example below.  

2.)  It's winter!  Your LO does not need to be about winter however because it's cold outside we need to layer up.  Use lots of layers!

When I think of The Song by Judy Garland it takes me to the part of the Song where Birds Fly over the Rainbow and all of those beautiful Blue Birds.

My challenge to you is to create a layout using birds but also colours of the Rainbow. It can be as many as you like or only one of the colours on your page.

For today's challenge we are going to focus on the lyrics, way up high. I chose these particular lyrics because I was scrapping a photo of Kyle and Brandy on a recent trip to the mountains. This photo was taken on Otter Falls hiking trail in Sevin Devils, NC. I also dug deep.....and I mean deep in my stash to find these papers by Fancy Pants. So your challenge is to use the song lyrics as your inspiration and dig deep, and I mean deep in your stash for some old scrapbook paper and tell me the name of the manufacturer.

Over the Rainbow

 Join us all month long as we post Challenges based on the lyrics from Judy Garland's Signature Song - Over the Rainbow. All challenges will focus on a word or phrase from the song, with a additional element required.

Here are my challenges:

"Someday I'll wish upon a star" is part of the song. My challenge to you is to use stars on your page and to layer your papers so they are not symmetrical

"Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue" is part of the song. My challenge to you is to use blue as a main color on your page and to add some sparkles

Stick it Down October Sketch

I was inspired by the 1 circle on the sketch.  I used  many rectangles for the base of my card.  I added the shiny ribbon and the 1 sequin to add some glam.  I try to keep my cards pretty flat so I can easily mail them.
