I love it

Here is my LO for the Stuck Sketches for February 1st.  It is my daughter with her new American Girl Closet that she got for Christmas in 2010 from her grandparents.  I used patterend background paper and put crumpled paper along the bottom with some lace ribbon.  I used the cardboard frames to add some fun journalling to the page!

Merry Christmas 2010

This LO was inspired by Workout #61-Blank Canvas from ScrapFit.  I used white cardstock for my blank canvas.  I misted it with red and copper spray.  I then used some of the various larger christmas scraps that I had to add some color to the backgound and to go along with the photos of my daughter.  I added some strips of border, a preprinted christmas title and then sewed on some buttons.   Lastly I added soem journaling in the "White space" under to the title strip.
It is fun to see how the "Blank canvas" turned out.

XXOO for dad

The Scrapfit Workout # 62 was to use some XOXOs on your page.  I used a journal card that had XXs and OOs on it.  For the photo I used this one of my husband that was taken on Christmas Day of 2010.  I thought it was a fun way to do a christmas page~no green or red!

Leroux Christmas

Here is another photo from our christmas 2010 with my parents and siblings.  This one has my daughter, 2 nieces and my parents.  When we all get together there are about 22 of us.  I used some brads to make a cluster on my page.  This was for the ScrapFit Weekend Marm-Up #24.
