My dream ......................for Pixels and Paper Challenge

The September  photo inspiration at Pixels and Paper is below

When I looked at this photo I was drawn to the blue and serenity of the water.  I used a photo of me from my June trip to the Adirondack Museum.  they have this giant chair there that I climbed up in.  Then I used lots of blue: paper, a transparency, washi tape, ribbon, and a pin.

To see what the other DT members created from the inspiration photo head over to Pixels and Paper.

Better late than never

At SID sketch Tuesday it is the double page team LOs this week.

Here is the sketch that we had to work from.

Here is what I created.  It is photo from last Christmas.  If you look closely you will see some of the same photos that I used already on single pages.  These pages will go in my daughter's scrapbook since side 1 is mostly photos of her.

To see more of the LOs created and to enter their challenge for to SID.  You have 1 week to create a LO and post it.  You could be a guest designer if your LO is chosen.

Winter for Southern Girls

I made a winter LO for the texture challenge at Southern Girls.  I used paint and mist on my white brick paper.  Then I used some snowflakes to add the winter effect.  These pop right off the page to add lots of texture.  We are at the end of our summer and I know I really don't want to think about the harsh winter we had last year.  I did want my kids to be able to remember it so I took these photos.

SBC Sketch and Sizzling Setches

Well I have been busy and did not put up the SBC (scrapbook Challenges) Monday sketch for last week so today you get 2 sketches and a whole lot of  Sizzling Sketches.  I am actually posting this a day early so that I do not forget to post it tomorrow morning.

August 18th Sketch Sketch 407.

Here is what I created.  Photos from the restaurant we loved, the Skinny Pancake.

 August 25, Sketch 408

My LO is of  my kids and their cousins coloring Easter eggs.

Sizzling Sketch LOs that have already gone by.  I am not including the sketches for these as it would be way too much to look at.  Here goes.............

Walrath Christmas

Here is another LO with photos from last christmas.  My daughter did not want me to take her picture but I did anyway.

These photos were taken while celebrating at my in-laws.  I used the August Sketch #28 from Kreative Koncepts for my inspiration to use all these hexagons.  I cut them using my punch.

To see this sketch go to Kreative Koncepts.  You have 6 more days to enter their challenge.

Coal..oh that is a mustache

Last christmas some of the kids got stick on mustaches.  Here a four of them sporting their mustaches.

I used the August 1st sketch from Stuck Sketches.  I used 1 photo instead of the 2 that were in the sketch.

You can see this sketch and their partner color challenge HERE.  So if life gives you coal turn it into a mustache.

SBC Monday Sketch and Sizzling Sketches
